Queen's University Students Take on The Stock Market Challenge in 2024

Students from Queen's University showcased their financial acumen and competitive spirit as they participated in the annual Stock Market Challenge on 31 January. This exciting event, organized by the Careers, Employability, and Skills service at Queen's in collaboration with Global Investor Simulations, brought together students from all faculties to experience the thrill of the trading room floor.

The Stock Market Challenge, open to students from various levels and disciplines, provided a realistic simulation of the highs and lows of stock trading. Participants had the opportunity to compete for top prizes, including exclusive insight experiences with renowned employers such as FinTrU, Kainos, Deloitte, and Fund Axis.

Becky Law, a Careers Consultant at Queen's University, successfully led the event at the state-of-the-art Computer Science Building. She expressed her delight at the students' exceptional performance and praised the participating employers for their insightful Q&A sessions. The event proved to be an enjoyable and enriching experience for all involved.
