Accessible Career Development Programme

Career Boost, our accessible Career Development programme for Queen's students returns in January 2026! 


The programme consists of ten two-hour sessions designed to enhance your employability skills and strengths, and to help you reach your career goals in an accessible learning environment.


This programme is funded by the Department for the Economy and is delivered in partnership with Queen's Careers and Employability Service and Specialisterne NI.

The programme will take place in Seminar Room 2 OG.039B in the Student Hub of the Queen's Business School.

Programme Eligibility Criteria:

This is a funded programme. To be eligible for a place you must fulfil ALL of the following criteria:

  • a) Applicants to be 18 years or older at point of enrolment.

    b) Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the course and must not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. Proof of this will be required to progress application.

    c) Individuals will be available to register in person at provider campus as required.

    d) Individual courses may have enhanced eligibility, details of which will be provided by the University (see application form for further information).

Future-Ready Award

The Future Ready Award is an employability award that allows you to gain formal recognition and a certificate for the extracurricular experiences gained during your time at Queen’s.

Successful completion of the Career Boost programme will result in you being eligible to receive a Future-Ready award through the award's single route.
