This event is the start of your Senior Academy journey.  At this event, you will meet your peers, discover all about the campus and facilities, and listen to interesting talks about the programme, university, and student life.

Taster Session Day

The Taster Session is an on-campus event where you will get a chance to meet current Queen’s students, academics, and Queen’s staff to learn more about what subjects can be studied at Queen’s University, the wealth of options available to applicants, alongside the careers that they can lead to.

Study Skills and Wellbeing

This session will give you a chance to look at key skills that can be transferred across multiple subjects and disciplines to help you develop your study techniques – particularly in reference to your upcoming A-Level exams.

Summer School Residential

The Summer School Residential is your chance to experience student life and what it's like to live and study on campus.  You will get to try out activities, meet current students and staff, and stay on campus.

Next Steps Day

With UCAS on the horizon, this session provides you with added support and a chance to ask any questions about applications, university/course choices and important decisions surrounding your future and more.

Preparing for Tutoring and Next Steps

This is a chance for you to prepare to get the most out of your tutoring opportunity and see what is next on your education journey.  This will also be a chance to ask any final questions and find out the answers to any remaining queries before returning to your A-Level and BTEC studies.

Tutoring gives you, if desired, access to a subject specific tutor in one of your chosen subjects during your A-Level studies.
