Date(s)
December 5, 2023
Location
Queen’s University Belfast – 69-71 University Street, Room 0G/007.
Time
10:00 - 11:30

Save the Children NI, the Centre for Children’s Rights at Queen’s and the School of Law at the University of Ulster have been in conversation over the past year about how best to capture children’s experiences of poverty from children themselves in ways that are non-stigmatising. As part of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Festival, in this workshop we will review existing child poverty research and discuss insights from workshops with children who are experiencing disadvantage.  We want to open a conversation, drawing on audience experiences, about the best ways to understand how children in Northern Ireland are experiencing and dealing with the cost of living crisis from children themselves.
