Good assessment and feedback practice

Assessment and feedback practice has been the subject of review for some time.  The pages in this section are based on the principles of good practice in assessment and feedback identified by Nichol (2009), which are distilled from the Re-Engineering of Assessment Practices.  As well as making suggestions about how these principles might be fulfilled examples of their implementation in Queen's are provided.  These are also reflected in the National Union of Students Charter on Feedback and Assessment.

If you are aware of other examples which might be usefully included in these pages and shared with colleagues across the University please contact Centre for Educational Development ced@qub.ac.uk
