Involve students in decision making about assessment policy and practice

This may be particularly relevant where students are on Joint or Major/Minor Academic Plans that are taught between Schools in terms of the balance and timing of assessment.

Ways to do this:

  • Online discussion forums about assessment procedures
  • Student representation on committees that discuss assessment policies and practice
  • Requesting feedback on assessment and feedback experiences at the end of a module as part of module review or part way through and then respond
