What is a Careers Consultant?
A Careers Consultant provides impartial and confidential career information, advice and guidance. We do this through 30 minute one-to-one career consultations. These can be done either online or face-to-face in the new Queen's University Belfast One Elmwood Student Centre.
There is a Career Consultant aligned to each school in the University, so you'll often see us out and about in your classes, supporting the delivery of careers and employability within the curriculum.

Consultations are available for current students (UG and PGT) and graduates for up to two years after graduation.
Our dedicated Careers team are here to provide bespoke careers advice during your time at Queen’s as you plan for your future.
We’ll help you to develop your skills and explore your career options.
Choose from a 30-minute or 15-minute slot, depending on your needs.
You can book up to five consultations per academic year via the appointments tab in MyFuture.

You may find the following information useful before your appointment.
