Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, the University is currently unable to produce parchments in the official hardcopy format.
Companies requiring verification of your degree(s) can also submit a request on the Higher Education Degree Datacheck (Hedd) website - https://hedd.ac.uk/. These will be processed as normal.
We can also issue degree verification emails directly to the organisation requiring the verification. For this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following details:
- Your student number, full name and date of birth;
- An official company/institution email address requiring the verification.
We will endeavour to process the request as soon as possible.
When you successfully complete your degree, you are eligible for an officially sealed parchment of your result. Once you have received your degree result, you will be able to complete the Graduation Registration Portal. This will enable you to choose to attend a graduation ceremony to receive your parchment, or to obtain your parchment in absentia (posted to your home address).
How to Order Replacement Parchments:
This service is only for replacement parchments. Replacement parchments can be obtained from Student Registry Services if the original parchment has been lost or destroyed, at a cost of £25 per parchment.

Requests can be made in writing, and should be accompanied by a cheque (made payable to Queen’s University Belfast) for £25 per parchment.
The following details should be included in your request:
Full name (and previous surname if applicable)
Date of birth
Details of degree and year of award
Full postal address for postage of the parchment
