This seminar is aimed at solicitors and barristers specialising in construction law. It will also be of practical benefit to construction professionals involved in the payment certification process (including designers, contract administrators, project managers, engineers and surveyors), as well as commercial directors / managers of employers / contractors / subcontractors.

About the speaker
David Humphreys, DWF (NI) LLP
David is an associate in the Infrastructure, Construction & Energy (ICE) team at DWF, and is qualified in Northern Ireland, England & Wales, and the Republic of Ireland. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), David specialises in high value and complex construction disputes, frequently attending to the drafting of all pleadings, submissions and witness statements in the course of such disputes. David’s recent public sector work includes advices in relation to complex projects across a central government client’s global estate, including high risk locations, disputed and distressed projects. David’s advice often overlaps with the implications of insolvency, jurisdiction, set off, procedural fairness and enforcement. David is a CIArb trained adjudicator and has recently been admitted to the panel of UK Adjudicators.
