A thorough Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy is essential for any new enterprise and works with the high reaching question of what I am selling to whom and through what channels in what market conditions.

This practical session will take you through the various elements of a GTM strategy for a budding or early stage social enterprise, how to transfer those elements to an operational project plan and will also address special case issues for social enterprises with the aim to open your view to a 360 perspective.

This session is facilitated by Tara McCartney, an ex-corporate manager turned social entrepreneur with multiple projects and companies based out of India. From basic services for the rural poor such as clean water, solar energy and social tourism, as part of a Smart Village strategy, via her non-profit United for Hope and its partner for-profit, Shakti Empowerment Solutions to sustainable farming and increased income for farmers via Grow Good Farms to ethical textile production for European retailers through her full service agency, Fairfactia, Tara has extensive knowledge of the challenges and the opportunities of social entrepreneurship in India.

Tara spent 10 years in the corporate sector developing GTM plans for new products and services before moving to India and founding a hybrid non-profit/for-profit organisation to address India’s social challenges via social enterprise.
