The Service is for

Staff, Students

Service Description

Library Services staff provide support and training designed to help library members find and evaluate information and make the best use of available resources.

Library subject teams provide one-to-one and organised group training sessions on searching for academic research literature, exploiting available online resources, managing references and making the best use of library collections.

Special Collections & Archives team provide one to one support and classes to support modules and assignments at undergraduate and postgraduate levels focussed on archives, print, map and photographic and digital resources. Access to Queen’s rare and unique collections including the University Archive (business records of QCB and QUB) is managed through Special Collections & Archives. 

Library staff also support new student induction sessions.
