Accessing the Service

Please Note: If you are using ‌Citrix Off campus for the first time then please follow the instructions below relevant to your operating system. 

Otherwise go to Citrix Off Campus and login with your usual credentials (staff/student no. and password).  You will now have access to a staff/student desktop and any other resources you have permission to access.

  • Citrix for Windows
    1. Goto Off Campus and login with usual credentials (staff/student no. and password)
    2. The first time, click on the Citrix Client Download tab and follow the instructions to install the Citrix Receiver web client
    3. Click Finish, log off Citrix, restart browser and repeat step 1 (If using IE and you get a blank page then goto Tools --> Compatibility View Settings, selct Add and logon again). You will now have access to a staff/student desktop and any other resources you have permission to access.
    4. If you are prompted for security settings on opening the staff/student desktop, then select Full Access and Never ask me again.  
  • Citrix for MACs
    1. Download the Citrix Receiver Client and double click ‘Install Citrix Software’
    2. Select Continue twice then click on Agree to accept the license
    3. Select Install and enter your MAC username and password when prompted and click Install, you will then be prompted for your work email or server address
    4. Click Cancel and you should get a window displaying 'the installation was successful', click Close
    5. Goto Off Campus and login with usual credentials (staff/student no. and password).  You will now have access to a staff/student desktop and any other resources you have permission to access.
    6. If you are prompted for security settings on opening the staff/student desktop, then select Full Access and Never ask me again.
